Did you know that in Florida, there are no male panthers (or some kind of cat animal, I forget which) with descended testicles?

Phthalates are plastics that are EXTRA DANGEROUS because they don't have a good bond with whatever bigger plastic thing they are part of and just end up in the air where they break down OR ENTER YOUR ENDOCRINE SYSTEM.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to tell you, sometimes it's important to take a break from being terrified about endocrine disruptors. Although the threat of endocrine disruptors is very real, it is not healthy to be in constant panic about having your species wiped out from the inside by tiny foreign objects confusing your very important insides. I know it's totally counterintuitive, but it is crucial to take a time out sometimes to keep an eye out for OTHER TERRIFYING THINGS.

Did you know that there is a website dedicated to providing ANYONE information on how to DO MAGIC. It exists and your neighbors are almost definitely using it! THAT IS PROBABLY WHY THEY HAVE JOBS AND FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES AND I DON'T.

Hey everyguy, everygal, and anyone else in between, I just got back from hiding in my secret place for around thirty months (I THINK). At first I felt safe, and really got into a nice pattern of living 32 hour days (20 hours awake/12 hours asleep / 32 hours WAITING FOR ENDOCRINE DISRUPTORS TO FIND ME)!!!! But then I realized I was drinking water from PLASTIC bottles, eating food out of PLASTIC bags, and sleeping on PLASTIC bedsheets! That implies a POOP TON of Bisphenol A getting all up in my grill, homies! AAAAAH!!! I KNOW!!!! AAAAAH!!!! RIGHT????!

Also, I was being a BIG FAT COWARD. It is one thing to be afraid. That one thing is "very reasonable" because our ENDOCRINE SYSTEMS are in AWFUL DISRUPTION DANGERS. But just because I am PERFECTLY REASONABLY TERRIFIED doesn't mean I should hide in an UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN CASE I CHANGE MY MIND. I'm back here IN A DIFFERENT UNDISCLOSED LOCATION but WITH INTERNET, and I'm fighting the war. The war on IGNORANCE. The war on IGNORANCE of YOU about how OUR ENDOCRINE SYSTEMS WILL BE ACCIDENTALLY EXTINGUISHING THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE.

If you mean as a person, then you might have skipped the paragraph above about how I STOPPED BEING A COWARD. Here is some information from the Natural Resources Defense Council's Internet page on endocrine disruptors!

"2. What is an endocrine disruptor?
An endocrine disruptor is a synthetic chemical that when absorbed into the body either mimics or blocks hormones and disrupts the body's normal functions. This disruption can happen through altering normal hormone levels, halting or stimulating the production of hormones, or changing the way hormones travel through the body, thus affecting the functions that these hormones control. Chemicals that are known human endocrine disruptors include diethylstilbesterol (the drug DES), dioxin, PCBs, DDT, and some other pesticides. Many chemicals, particularly pesticides and plasticizers, are suspected endocrine disruptors based on limited animal studies."

This is really wordy, so I hope it helps! I think what it says is that endocrine disruptors alter your body and hormones. I remember a lot of things about hormones from being a teenager, and none of them were pleasant, so keep an eye out okay? And for heavens sakes, avoid particularly pesticides and plasticizers, or what I will now refer to as "THE THREE P"S OF DOOM"
Also, I think the part at the very end about the "limited animal studies" means everyone involved in the studies died or something.
Because this stuff is mega important, and I read a few years back that the language of the internet might become japanese, I translated this into japanese using the altavista's babelfish.
